Background of Al-Bukhari Library

💜Was established in January 1985, at Teluk Sisek, Kuantan, Pahang. In June 1993, the library moved to a permanent campus in Bandar Jengka and was known as the Al-Bukhari Library.
❤   A new Al-Bukhari library was build in July 2011 and start operating on 02 April 2012. This new library accommodating total capacity  1511 seating at one time. System classification Library of Congress (LCC) used for classification in Al- Bukhari library.

Diskusi room: 2 pieces / 8 people per room
It room : 80 computer
exercise room: 36 seat
total : 1030 seats

Types of Resources


academic resources
-support student academic and engagement in various location in campus. For example, library, information technology & computer, register 
- In UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Jengka academic resources can be found at Hal Ehwal Akademik(HEA), Makmal computer, Library Al-Bukhari , Fast Track, IST

Housing, Dining and Transportation Resources

 This resource to facilitate students to make their daily activities.
Conducive and convenient transportation for students to go the city.
-For example buses, dining places. In UiTM Jengka have Dewan makan at Kolej Tun Fatimah for boys and Medan selera at Kolej Tok Gajah  for girls. For transport, buses and van are available in UiTM Jengka and it operate from 8.00 a.m untill 11.00 p.m and break at 12.00 p.m.

Student Organization Resources

-It is for extra-curricular, leisure activities for student, recreation and the place to do sport training are available.
-For example, Hal Ehwal Pelajar(HEP), unit sukan, padang Ragbi, football field, handball , tennis. 

 10 Things must know about AL-BUKHARI library.


1. operation hour

- this library open from 8.30 a.m. until 6.30 p.m every Monday to Friday. For Saturday, this library open from 9.30 a.m until 6.30 p.m and closed on Sunday. On the exam week, this library open until night which is the time on Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m to 10.50 p.m, saturday :9.30 a.m - 6.30 p.m . Sunday: 9.30 a.m to 6.30 p.m.

3. Step borrowing and return book

     First thing to do in borrowing book is go to OPAC ( Online Public Access Cataloge).
Then, students can find their book at the shelves according to their serial number. Next, go to the  counter and give your matrix card to be scan by library staff to complete the steps. For return the book, drop your book at self-check machine.

4.Punishment

 -if the punishment is not settle, the next loan is not allowed. Student will charge 20 cents per day  of each book when they return late from the deadline.

5.Book lost

  
 -student need to report the missing book ( If it is found that the book is missing, please report it immediately at the main counter, to avoid increasing the penalty)
student given 14 days by staff to find the same book.

6. loan between libraries 


-if the required book is not in the collection at library Al-Bukhari, this will allow you to borrow the book from other UiTM library at counter. 

7. IT Room


-IT Room 1: 60 pc

-IT Room 2: 20 pc


  • register if want to use it at counter IT Room
  • not allowed to keep personal details in computer at IT room.
  • 1 hour for using the pc at one time. please renew every hour for  statistic system.
  • not allowed insert software except which already exists.
  • not allowed steal devices and computer tools IT Room.
  • not allowed to access to website prono, chatting.
8. libray zon

leisure zon : discusses with comfortable and control voice.

Quiet zon  : -slow your voice
                          -Regular conversations are allowed in controlled tone
                           - make sure mobile phone in silent mode.

silent zon: -not allowed to chat or make a noise.
                       - situation always quiet .
                       - not allow to use or bring mobile phone.
